Owner's Profile

A little bit about me and how I got started, I built my first PC over 10 yrs ago so I could play computer games like Doom. And chat on AOL. You know back during Dos Ver6.22 and Windows3.1. I went to work in a local computer store where I experienced Windows 95 upgrades and several changes in the PC world. At there closing most of the customers started calling me at home, which in turn is why I started my business because they did not know who to turn to do their IT work. This also led me to work Tec Support for 2 yrs at a local ISP who offered dialup and ISDN services. This company being owned by a local man was feeling the pressures of high-speed Internet services and sold to a bigger ISP whom offered high-speed Wireless connections. This was in early 2000 and 2.4 wireless was quite new to everyone. Working as an installer and Tec support for them for about 2yrs. During this time frame I contracted to a local utility for help on Tec Support desk to help train others and assist in customer relations. This is how I met a new company looking for a wireless site tech. Working with 5Ghz radios they sent me to Motorola radio school. Which taught me a lot about lighting protection. During my time with this company I assisted in layout & design of Wan Infrastructures covering city Wide Networks as well as Back haul links between cities up to 26miles apart. I help in all aspects of network construction, tower installations, and troubleshooting wireless links.
